whoomp emotes
definitionally interoperable + powered by web3
in-game emoting has been a thing for a long time, but until now, these expressions were locked to their game + ecosystem of origin…
what started as a simple solution to this problem- a cross-game system of user owned emotes- has evolved into a vision of people collecting and connecting across their favorite games, messaging apps, content creation platforms, and virtual worlds

whoomp BYONFT emotes
bringing interoperability + utility to existing NFTs
pair supported PFP collections / game characters / other assets with whoomp BYONFT emotes – they’re rendered upon request with your favorite NFTs as the featured subject
this feature is LIVE– letting a user attach their owned NFTs from Axie Infinity, Neo Tokyo, or Project Eluüne with a simulated BYONFT emote NFT- and see the actual rendered result in real-time
BYONFT emotes seen here also showcase their aesthetic variants (click or hover on the “+” icons) – resulting in >120,000 possible combinations for Party Parrot. If you viewed each unique version paired with an Axie from Axie Infinity (each on its 5 second loop), it’d take you 2.5 million years to see all of them. if you never slept. and are immortal. yes there are a few issues with this metaphor, but we’re sticking with it

decentralized emote creation
it’d be shortsighted to think we at whoomp could identify the perfect emotes for our partner communities. the best ideas and art come organically from users, since they’re on the frontlines of their Discord servers. meme experts: this is your call to arms
to properly compensate for contributions to emote creation within a community, we share seller creator fees in perpetuity. rather than a wallet address, the smart contract pays dividends to the holder of a specified token (distributed after contribution) – meaning contributors are free to sell their stake in ongoing revenue for immediate income, a la JG Wentworth. Or, they can hold their token and get creator fees all the way up to 1% of all sales of their contributed emotes, FOREVER

soon, we’ll be doing our founder’s mint – a 1K collection of 100 unique mixed emojis (currently on display in our Discord) framed as emotes with our whoompy set of aesthetic variants; these are 100% compatible with our Discord bot and will be usable across all future supported platforms, and are undeniably rad in a vacuum… BUT THE BEST PART….
we’ll be allocating 1% creator fees of every single collection, from here until whoomp kicks the bucket (never?), so founder-token-holders get a share of marketplace revenue of all future minted whoomp NFTs. a whoomp founder NFT lets you get in early and enables you to share in our success- a thank you for your support to help us get started. for now, you can still get in on the
