although part of the appeal of whoomp emotes is 100% unique variants in NFT form, some of the core assets created for standalone emotes aren’t dependent on these variants to carry value and utility. for this reason, we’ll provide these core assets in Discord native formats; there are some pretty significant limitations on custom emojis + stickers that prevent high quality/high quantity options, but anything is better than nothing, right?
for the standalone concept, Vibe Pod, we can take the core character and its dance variations to create a set of custom stickers & animated emojis. since animated emojis have more slots available + less restrictions than stickers, so we can also render out the different backgrounds as animated emojis. (and for certain use cases, we can provide ordered “left/center/right” versions to create a fun series of emojis, as seen in the screen grab.)
the potential to provide custom assets from standalone concepts for partner communities is limitless – implementations will be dependent on partner requirements + future platforms beyond Discord. we want to deliver maximum value to our users, and this is one of the ways we’re making this happen!
